APIC-SHEA Partnership in Prevention Award

APIC and SHEA promote a culture of partnership that advances the implementation of scientific evidence into practice. The joint Partnership in Prevention Award is created to recognize the powerful change made possible by team efforts in infection prevention and control.

The first joint award will be announced during the Fifth Decennial and will consist of:

• Commemorative plaque.
• $5,000 contribution toward infection prevention efforts at the awardees’ institution.
• Invitation to include up to 3 team members in the Decennial, including travel and one day’s lodging at the Hyatt Regency Atlanta.

Applications are due February 15, 2010.
